J&JJ Directors: sharing a wealth of property and business experience

Jonathan Saad, Director & General Foreman

Established in 2011, yet taking on the full benefit of Jonathan Saad’s many years of experience in landscape design and construction, J&JJ Developments is the amalgamation of Jonathan’s success in the building industry and his wife Ana’s success in business management and operations.

J&JJ began as a small start-up operating from their home and has grown to become a lucrative landscaping and construction business in Castle Hill’s business district.

Jonathan Saad is a second generation builder and property developer with qualifications in carpentry, horticulture, and landscape construction. He entered his family business in 1983 and has been dealing in and with property in some form, ever since.

Jonathan’s specialty is harnessing the value in underdeveloped property and creating tasteful, stylish homes equally suited to investors or residents. His unwavering attention to detail and commitment to quality creates a finished product he’s proud to stand behind, and his reputation in the industry is as a trusted builder and contractor.

Jon also has a natural flair for design, both interior and exterior, giving his finished properties a premium finish that’s often hard to find in the quickly churning property development market.

Jonathan’s high professional standards and success as a builder and property developer have earned him a loyal, blue chip clientele, in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors in both Sydney and Melbourne.

Ana Saad, Director & General Manager

Ana Saad, is an award winning business developer and marketer who specialises in marketing and business operations.

Ana’s business savvy allows her to create a lean business, capable of consistently producing the highest quality workmanship and service, while also keeping prices low enough to provide excellent value to every customer.

Ana has also been instrumental in the development of J&JJ’s corporate identity, a strong web presence and marketing collateral managed by her marketing agency Builders Brand & Marketing.

A committed self-educator, Ana has been undertaking studies in a range of business related disciplines for nearly two decades, currently completing her MBA and her Financial Advisor qualification.

Ana aims to uphold J&JJ’s position as a high quality, yet affordable landscape construction firm in Sydney.

Mark Corry, Foreman/Project Manager

Mark’s extensive knowledge of all things horticultural are a central part of the skills he brings to his role of Foreman and Project Manager at J&JJ but it’s the added experience of project, contract and people management that set him apart as an exceptional operator.

Mark has a long list of qualifications that underpin his dedication as a specialist in his field. They include a swag of Horticulture certificates but also first aid, OH&S, project management, team management and fire safety, just to name a few. He is committed to continuous education, believing he can always improve his knowledge, methods and approach, for the added satisfaction of both his staff and his clients.

Mark undertook his first qualification in horticulture, spending several years working in lawn management for a number of clients, before upping the ante to a management role at Boystown spending 7 years working his way up to Enterprise manager, which put him in charge of a number of youth work projects ranging from lawn maintenance to graffiti removal.

Mark will bring his amazing horticultural and management skills to your project as foreman or project manager. His two decades of experience across a wide range of horticultural projects and challenges allow you to relax as he takes charge of your project, safe in the knowledge that you’re in the safest of hands.

Ray Trovato, Senior Foreman

Ray has over 40 years of experience working in construction. Ray’s extensive knowledge and finely honed skills in all areas of construction make him an extremely valuable member of the team at J&JJ. He’s one of our Senior Foreman, capable of taking on the largest of projects, managing them to the smallest of details.

In his 40+ years on the tools, Ray has completed multiple qualifications. He holds a NSW builders licence, a Certificate IV in building, he’s a qualified brickie, waterproofer and electrical tagger. He’s also qualified to operate a Manitou telescopic handler, a backhoe and a Bobcat. This makes him invaluable on site, able to take on or teach any task, although his true value these days lies in his ability to run a smooth project.

Ray began his apprenticeship in Gladstone (QLD) in 1975. He began working for himself in 1978 before joining his first major employer, TF Woollam and Sons where he worked for 15 years. He’s also worked for Cordukes, Thomas and Coffee and Summer & Staff.

Ray comes to J&JJ with extensive knowledge in residential building gathered over years working for big operators such as Masterton, Clarendon, Rawson, Tachi Bros and Allcastle Homes. Beyond home building he’s also had a great deal of exposure to larger commercial and industrial projects, these include Moranbah Civic Centre, ICI Plant Gladstone, Callide Power Station Biloela and Rockhampton Correctional Centre.

We are pleased and proud to have Ray working for us as Senior Foreman at J&JJ.  His wealth of skills in construction across such a range of projects mean he’s unflappable, organised and supremely capable of managing any project we can give him.
